This must be a old-school trick, as most if not all, aftermarket companys adds claim Flow Porting, including the adds for Mugen USA. Would also like to mention something on Flow Porting as there has been some discussions about it on some threads. Team Honda consisted of: Mark Weixeldorpher, Dean Sundahl, Mike Chester, Curtis Sparks, Tom Gaian, (Does not mention the 6th Rider) Ken Harayda Honda/Tucson ATC Supply Hondaģ. Dean Sundahl, 350cc prepped, ATC Team HondaĢ. This track was more for offroad trucks and buggies, and not so much a smoothed out motorcross track.ġ. Over 50 3 wheeled racers showed up to the event. Honda was the sponsor of the race and they brought a team of 6 riders. This race was primarily for dune buggies and off road trucks. "Motor City Man", Ted Nugent was there as well racing his dune buggy, "statocaster". I was the first time 3 wheelers got a chance to demonstrate in front of a large audience at Riverside International Raceway. Journey starts with 1981 Bridgestone/Score Off-Road Championship in Aug of 1981, this was the race that turned the corner for organized 3 wheeler racing. At the end of 1982 they went to monthly publication. Incidentally enough, DW was a bi-monthly issue from 1981 to end of 1982, so there is only 1 issue every 2 months. Racing coverage didn't start in DW until Dec 1981 so that is where my information begins. There was only 2 issue from Dec 1980 to Dec 1981. DW Started in Dec 1980 as a spin off company from Dirt Bike.
